Dr. William Wagnon

Dr. William W. Wagnon graduated cum laude from Baylor University in 1974. He graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, in 1978. After his residency at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, he spent three years in ophthalmology residency training in Dallas at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Wagnon and his family moved to Lufkin, Texas, in 1982, where he has treated eye disease and performed eye surgery for 37 years.

He is board-certified in ophthalmology and has a special interest in diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. He continues to perform laser surgery in his office, using both Yag and Argon lasers to treat ocular conditions.

Dr. Wagnon conducts eye exams for adults and children, evaluates patients for glasses, and accepts new Medicare patients.
